Members of the TAFISA Knowledge Exchange Commission (KEC) who attended the TAFISA World Congress in Prague took the opportunity to come together in person to strengthen connections, exchange ideas, and discuss the future projects. This was a great opportunity to reflect on the commission's ongoing work, share updates from their respective fields, and explore ways to enhance collaboration across the network.
Following the Congress in Prague, the KEC was presented during the first meeting of the new TAFISA Board of Directors and subsequently reappointed as a commission, confirming the continuation of its mandate. Under the continued leadership of Chair Prof. Aurélie Van Hoye, it will carry on its work to foster knowledge exchange from research to practice and practice to research within the global Sport for All movement.
The KEC is a dynamic workgroup established to foster global collaboration among experts, practitioners, and organizational leaders in the Sport for All movement. Launched in 2024, the KEC serves as a platform for exchanging ideas, best practices, and innovative solutions from research to practice and practice to research to advance physical activity and sport participation worldwide.
